Abstract

This study of Sixteenth and Seventeenth-Century documents, which have letras caballerescas, is a tentative guide to the evolution and development of emblematic literature. Here we analyze the process of change of the letras from the cancioneros of the Fifteenth Century to the Golden Age. In this article we do not intend to pose an irrefutable hypothesis, on the contrary we propose a way of reading and interpretation of this particular lyra minima, that was used in chivalric festivals and whose fully recollection and study is still needed
