Abstract

This paper focuses on some aspects of iconography in different editions of Don Quixote. The findings stem from an investigation that is still ongoing, aimed to investigate and problematize the reception of the work in different places and times. The iconography present in various editions allows us to approach, at least partially, to the reception of the work, based on different problems that are reflected in the images, such as the type of audience that was directed by purchasing power or type of reading that was made of the work, among other things. In the developed research has collated different editions of the work included in the collection Cervantina Public Library of National University of La Plata, in order to analyze this problem to expand with a small contribution panorama interpretation of the work
