Abstract
A selection of letters [not published until today except one] kept within Enrique Díez-Canedo's documents, ambassador of the Spanish Republic in Argentina from July 1936 to February 1937, gives the possibility to reconstruct in detail the relationships, movements and intrigues of the Hispanoargentinian diplomacy according to direct testimonies as well as to understand the difficulties of his charge and the reasons of his abrupt resignation to the Embassy less than a year before his assumption
