La tierra y su relación con el botín en el Cantar de Mio Cid
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the importance of land as part of the booty obtained by the Campeador during his campaigns in Moorish territories. Furthermore, land, and nourishment as its counterpart, not only differentiate Rodrigo's initial situation from its final success as "señor de frontera," but they also represent thematic components within the booty, in order to understand the opposition between estate ("heredad") and the place where the army can rest.
