Abstract

Being an aware researcher of Cervantes' literary culture, the figure of Arturo Marasso imprinted the erudite reference on Cervantine studies, through his acquaintance with Greek and Latin literature, from which passages are lavishly quoted in his critical work, as sources of the invention of Quixote.
