La oreja y la pluma. La dedicatoria como huella de la autobiografía

Abstract

This paperwork starts by the description of Lope de Vega's writing traditionally made by criticism, understanding it as autobiographical, appealing to concepts like "life" or "literature" so as to explain determined characteristics of his poetical production. These concepts deserve a revision, inasmuch as they can be reformulated from more modern theories. A reading of the autobiographical element is proposed here, constructing a dialogue between traditional points of view on Lope's work and elements related to the theory of autobiography, starting by a path through Lope's dedications on his own comedies, for they are border spaces between orality and writing, autobiography and literary conventions.
